Calvin Harris - Feel So Close. Normally I don’t post many ‘mainstream’ songs, but this one is special. because I like it.
I feel like writing something, seeing as it’s been a while since my last rambling post, however I don’t know what to write about. I just want school to be over. But at the same time I don’t want to leave so soon. I’ve just been stressed lately. I have a 5 page essay to write for honor’s on a book I haven’t finished. I haven’t gotten any quotes and it’s due in four days. I’m not going to try very hard to write a good essay this time. And then I have the biology SAT II test on saturday morning. I haven’t even looked at the sat study booklet. I have finals to study for. I have to finish the frog lab in bio tomorrow after school because me and my partner were actually learning the parts rather than rushing through it.
I’m actually interested in surgery as a career. I have a very steady hand and fine motor skills. Plus I’m smart and into medicine. I don’t get grossed out by stuff either. I’m able to detach myself if the thing isn’t in pain.
I just need a hug. I’ve had a bad day and I’m tired and stressed about all the stuff I have to do this weekend. Urrrg. I have to do this stupid french ‘autobiography’. It hardly qualifies as an autobiography. But I have to put it in a booklet and make it all pretty looking. Can’t I just get an A for using correct french? I’m just tired and that makes it worse. I kept waking up last night. Perhaps I’ll take a nap. I miss my friends :( As you can see, my mind is wandering a lot. To be honest, I don’t see why anyone would read this whole post, but if you are reading this, good for you! You get a gold star.

Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone. It’s this song! I haven’t heard this in a long time! It was popular in sweden. I remember getting this song stuck in my head a lot.

Sweden won the Eurovision Song Contest! I was looking at the songs by the other countries. Come on, France! You could have done better. You have some of the coolest techno bands around like Martin Solvieg. I thought you’d do better. Too bad. But hey, Sweden has a huge music industry, relative to its population size. I’m not surprised though.
Music is my escape. When things are bad, I can always count on music to be there. In the midst of a song, I can pretend that I’m on speaking terms with everyone. It’s a place I can go to for reassurance. When life is uninspiring, it never fails to spark an interest in me.

Junk of the Heart - The Kooks. Cover by “shaunsomething” on youtube. This cover is amazing! Personally, I like the cover better than the original. You should look this guy up on youtube. He only has like 900 subscribers, and I think that’s crazy for how good he is!
Phoenix - Lisztomania. This is yet another awesome cover. I love how she makes the song her own. And her voice is just amazing.
